Cookies
Version 20/10/2026
The short version
This website doesn’t use analytics, advertising or social media cookies, and it doesn’t track you. That’s why there is no cookie banner. The law lets a website store information on your device without asking first only when it is strictly necessary for something you have asked for (the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, regulation 6 and Schedule A1), and that is the only kind of storage used here.
What is stored, and why
| Name | Set by | What it’s for | How long | Who gets it |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| rose_admin | This website | Keeps the practitioner signed in to her private diary | 30 days, or until she signs out | Only the practitioner, after signing in. Visitors and clients never receive it. |
| __cf_bm [[ASK George: confirm whether Cloudflare sets this on the live domain; delete the row if not]] | Cloudflare | Helping protect the site from automated traffic | 30 minutes | Any visitor, if the protection is switched on |
What we don’t use
No analytics or visitor statistics. No advertising or remarketing cookies. No Facebook, Instagram, TikTok or Google tracking pixels. No embedded maps, videos or Instagram feeds. No chat widgets.
If this changes
If we ever add privacy-friendly visitor statistics, we will update this page first and explain how to opt out.
